The Hind Hotel - Wellingborough

Central location right next to a pub. Plenty of savoury food for meals.

The room was newly remodelled with bedroom and the free standing bath which felt luxurious plus an old perfume. Very central location of this budget hotel was a bonus. Also, it was 25 minutes on foot from Trails.

The hotel was ideally located.

It was well priced, the hotel was clean, and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was excellent with a tomato, bacon and also beans, worth the price.

The hind had friendly staff. The secure parking behind locked gates was great. The building had a charming, historical appeal which we appreciated.

A little worn in places, but the hotel has loads of character . The room had everything we required with a good TV and tea / coffee making facilities.Its right in the centre of Wellingborough and other retaurants/pubs were only a five minutes walk away.

the shower was a bit iffy, but there was plenty of hot water to enable a soak in the bath.

Friendly helpful staff, although town centre location quiet and convenient for all amenities. Good food both in bar and restaurant at very good prices. Character Hotel with many attractive features.

The historical charm was overshadowed by the damp, musty smell in the room.

It had a comfortable and cosy feel and was welcoming

Long corridors, if there was a fire, I wanted to be in this hotel, everything else was fine.

Nice tub in the room but staff seemed inexperienced and management needs improvement.

The hotel was good value for money . The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good indeed with a good selection and efficiently served and prepared

The room was slightly dated and the tele old fashioned with a poor picture. Overall the room was comfortable enough although could have been warmer

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen has been reopened for us. The pub is open longer for guests. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet.

The thermostat in the shower was difficult to operate (calcified?) - we had a very hot shower.

great access to parks and local attractions for weekend walkers

I really enjoyed my stay with really kind staff who made me feel welcome and the breakfast offered a great variety that fueled my explorations, while being right in the middle of the town centre meant I could easily stroll to nearby spots like the lovely All Hallows Church and the inviting Wellingborough Museum, making every day filled with wonderful discoveries.

Charming old building with character, great four-poster bed in the beautiful suite, and a beautiful bath setup in the bay window offering a nice view. The café across the road serves delicious food.

The hotel's public spaces feel dated and could use an update. There was no hot water , a significant inconvenience for a premium-priced room. The absence of room service added to the frustration, detracting from what could've been a great experience in a lovely suite.
